My Story

Let the Light Shine Through

Allen's Story

My passion for window cleaning began long before I ever dreamed of owning a business. As a young boy, I would go to work with my dad, carrying a squeegee almost as big as me. While other kids were out playing, I was excited to be by his side, learning the craft of washing windows.

My dad worked hard his entire life. He did many things to provide for our family, but the one thing I remember most vividly was his window cleaning.

He never just cleaned glass — he taught me that every window told a story, and every customer deserved respect, honesty, and a job done right.

Those lessons became a foundation for my life.

My mom and dad both shaped me into the person I am today. Without their influence, love, and guidance, I wouldn't be where I am. They gave me more than skills — they instilled in me integrity, determination, and pride in my work.

Technically, I've been cleaning windows since 1989. In 2002, at just 18 years old, I officially turned that lifelong experience into a company of my own: Let The Light Shine Through LLC.

For over 22 years, I've carried on the tradition my dad started, with the same excitement I had as a child holding that first squeegee.

This isn't just a business — it's a legacy. Every time I clean a window, I think of my dad, and I think of the promise I made to myself: to let every window shine like never before, and to treat every customer the way I would want my own family to be treated.
